Forecasting / Business Analysis
Prepares sales forecasts and collects and analyzes data to evaluate current sales goals. The ideal candidate is familiar with a variety of the medical field concepts, practices, and procedures.
Formal Schedule – (External)
Budget - gather, consolidate and analyze data from all locations for use by accounting department to develop yearly budget.
Quarterly Forecast Revisions – use and update a 12 quarter system
Communicate monthly variances to financial partners
Fill special requests for information from corporate staff
Customer Profiles (Internal): Participate in developing, updating and overseeing major customer profiles to include:
Budget vs. Actual sales
Contacts by market segment and region
Individual customer strategies
Market Intelligence /Research
Lead market research activities and disseminate information as needed for strategic marketing purposes. Collects and analyzes data to evaluate existing and potential products or markets. The ideal candidate is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Product Match : Work with outside research firms to match independent forecast to customer supplied data by Autocam Medical business unit. Develop visual reference of surgical procedure and Autocam Medical content by product type.
Market Segments: Gather and maintain market intelligence. Market intelligence to include
general trends, players, market share, threats and future programs.
Target Markets and Customers
Research: Keep up-to-date of general macro-economic trends and forecasts used for
reporting, budgeting and market development efforts by:
Reading daily/weekly/quarterly reference material
Attending seminars and trade shows
Marketing and Field Sales Support
Works with others to execute the implantation of marketing and communication programs; which effectively describes and promotes the organization and its product and services.
Provides direction to sales staff.
Assist field sales team in CRM activity: pipeline management, lead generation, follow up, customer profiles, account profiles, to improve sales processes and customer management, competitor profiles and intelligence.
Lead and manage marketing support for advertising and various sales support products such as presentations and promotional material
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Business degree (preferably Finance, Accounting or Marketing)
Proven experience in Financial and Marketing analysis
Sales Training or equivalent experience
