Solar roof: sustainable energy by design

We continuously strive to minimize our environmental impact by conservation, reuse, and recycling. Our commitment to environmental preservation is evident in the solar panels at our new global headquarters in Kentwood, MI. The solar panels provide sustainable energy, ease the power grid load, and they reduce CO2 emissions equivalent to removing 550 vehicles from the road every year.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Sun’s heat is absorbed and blocked by the panels.
  2. The solar absorption creates energy.
  3. Industrial chillers extract the panels’ heat & cool machines.
  4. The system lowers energy use and costs by reduction and redistribution.
